As cancer care need rises number of oncologists fails to keep pace

MedPage Today – Mar. 11, 2014 – A review by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)
shows that the demand for cancer services is expected to rise 43 percent over
the next decade, whereas the number of oncologists will rise by only 28
percent. The report, “The State of
Cancer Care in America: 2014” is available on the ASCO website.
